Speech Language Pathologist
Dr. Hannah Davidson earned her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Governors State University in 2017. She began her career at a private clinic and therapeutic day school, specializing in speech and language difficulties for individuals with emotional and behavioral disorders. In 2018, she transitioned to the medical field, practicing as a speech-language pathologist and Director of Rehabilitation in various skilled nursing facilities while completing a Doctorate in Interdisciplinary Leadership with a focus on Higher Education in 2023.
Dr. Hannah is deeply committed to both education and patient care, with extensive experience in supervising graduate students and a strong background in higher education. She excels in making therapy engaging and interactive, especially in treating language disorders. Additionally, she specializes in swallowing disorders, voice disorders, and cognitive disorders, including aphasia, memory deficits, and problem-solving difficulties, working with individuals who have experienced strokes, dementia, or traumatic brain injuries.
At ATWC, Dr. Hannah focuses on working with children 12 months and older with feeding/swallowing disorders, speech/language delays, social/pragmatic disorders, and AAC device users. She also addresses voice and well as myofunctional disorders in children and adults, including tethered oral tissues (tongue and lip ties), TMJ, mouth breathing, and low tongue posture. Her approach ensures dynamic and effective therapeutic outcomes for her patients, creating a legacy of excellence in the field.
