Speech-Language Pathologist / Myofunctional Therapist

Jaleesa Garcia is a speech-language pathologist and myofunctional therapist. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from DePaul University and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Lewis University.

She has experience supporting patients across the lifespan, from early childhood through adulthood, treating a wide range of communication needs including speech sound disorders, language delays, and cognitive-communication impairments. She continues to expand her clinical expertise through specialized training in pediatric feeding therapy, tethered oral tissues, and the connection between airway, sleep, and overall health.

Patients and families notice her method immediately: Jaleesa builds skills, confidence, and independence in that order, and ensures that every patient and parent clearly understands both the treatment plan and the reasoning behind it.

Outside the clinic, Jaleesa enjoys time by the lake, exploring the outdoors, and sharing meals with family and friends.
