Founder / Speech-Language Pathologist
Margaret Stoch is a speech-language pathologist and the founder of Advanced Therapy & Wellness Center. In clinical practice since 2013, she specializes in pediatric and adult feeding and swallowing, orofacial myofunctional disorders, and airway-centered care that connects oral function with breathing, sleep, regulation, and long-term health.
Her education includes a Bachelor of Arts, a Bachelor of Health Sciences, and a Master of Health Sciences in Communication Disorders. She is a licensed speech-language pathologist, orofacial myofunctional therapist, feeding specialist, and dually certified nutritional coach, and has received the ASHA Award for Continuing Education (ACE) seven times.
Her work frequently begins with the patterns traditional care overlooks: dysfunctional breathing, low tongue posture, mouth breathing, tethered oral tissues, and oral-motor inefficiencies. The same underlying pattern presents differently at every age, appearing as feeding difficulty in an infant, a speech concern in a child, and disrupted sleep or diminished performance in an adolescent or adult. Margaret traces each pattern to its source and treats the cause itself.
She partners closely with dentists, physicians, and therapists across disciplines so that therapy becomes a path to lasting functional change rather than symptom management, and she leads and mentors a team of clinicians committed to compassionate, accountable care with measurable outcomes.
Her dedication to the field is also personal. Having experienced myofunctional disorders herself, Margaret understands the difference whole-person care can make, and she is a devoted educator on oral and airway health in the clinic, in the community, and through her YouTube channel.
Outside of work, she treasures time with her husband and their three sons.
